Ive heard an good recipe for making a clone/replica Yenko Camaro, when we talk about the engine, is to use a 454 block and use a 396 crank to get the 427 C.ui, then use parts that’s that is very similar or close to make the engine look authenthic. Ofc you can use whatever personal adds you’d like, but if you wanna be pretty much authenthic, search for details about these cars in good books, internet, talk to people who have own or owns cars like these, i think that’s the best way to get info.
a dream!!!!!!!!!
I love your Yenko…I am a huge Yenko fan and I am asking the help of all other Yenko fans….

One question, if building a clone, and not using a 427 block, but a 454, why go the extra expense of destroking a 454? Might just as well build a nice mildly warmed up 454 instead. A 427 build is a mighty expensive undertaking, even for someone with unlimited funding. 409’s are even worse. 425 Olds are even more. 454’s are plentiful, and can produce the same torque, or more for substantially less. Just my two cents. Been there…
